The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made follows Seiichi Hiiragi, an overweight high-school student who is constantly bullied. One day, Seiichi and his classmates are suddenly transported to a fantasy world, but he ends up separated from everyone else. While trying to survive, he discovers and eats the mysterious Fruit of Evolution, which dramatically transforms his appearance and gives him increasingly ridiculous abilities. His adventure gets even stranger when he encounters Saria, a powerful pink gorilla who becomes one of his closest companions—and eventually transforms herself. 😂 From there, Seiichi travels through the fantasy world, meets new allies, battles monsters, and becomes absurdly powerful while slowly gaining the confidence and happiness he never had in his previous life.
